Studerende i programmet vil udføre avanceret undersøgelse, træning og forskning inden for områder, der fokuserer på funktionel genomik, high-throughput fænotyping og beregningsanalyse af genomiske og fænomiske data. Enormous amounts of biological data are generated in medicine, biochemistry and biology. This creates a high demand for talented, experienced graduates from biology, statistics and computer science with knowledge in bioinformatics. In the Master’s programme in Bioinformatics at Lund University, students with different educational backgrounds come together and learn the tools to analyse biological data using computational methods. The programme is well suited for anyone who wants to work as a bioinformatician in the future or apply bioinformatics tools in their work and research.
